We had a wonderful stay at a hotel that sits on top of a hill in the Douro Valley. The view was totally stunning. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a comfortable bed, big balcony, and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were friendly and always available to help. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every day, with good coffee and freshly baked bread. We also appreciated the hotel's environmentally-friendly lights. The location was perfect, with a fabulous vineyard nearby and a beautiful town just a short walk away.
The hotel entrance lights were not on when we arrived, and it felt a bit eerie at first.

We loved the hotel's eco-friendly approach, with lights turning on and off as we walked down the corridor. This city's location is perfect for wine lovers, as it's just a short walk to the fantastic vineyard Q de Padrela.

The breakfast was a disappointment as the food seemed to be in very short supply. The serving staff seemed to be overwhelmed and we had to wait for long before any food was replenished.
